How is your faith today?
Everyday, it seems like life is filled with meaningless tasks. We go to work and hope that something out of the ordinary happens so that we might have a chance to live and think for 10 minutes of our working day. It might beĀ something as unremarkable as a seeing eye dog running around your office building and licking everybody in the face. It isn’t that we enjoy the mess the dog leaves. We just enjoy experiencing life.
Because we all could use a little inspirational wake up call, I have decided to list 5 inspirational Bible quotes that will enhance your day. I hope these verses might help encourage your faith and remember that even though life can be mundane, every day is a beautiful gift from God.
Inspirational Bible Quotes
- “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6) When you think that there is just too much pressure and too many deadlines in your life, remember that God walks with us. For 40 years, the people of Israel roamed the desert but God always supplied them with food and shelter.
- “And be ye kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” (Ephesians 4:32) - We don’t realize it, but it is easy to neglect people when life becomes about mundane tasks. Paul reminds us that we are to care for everyone no matter our situation.
- “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ.” (Galations 3:28) - It is easy to get lost in our titles and placement in this world, but remember that with God we aren’t deemed important by the amount of hurdles we jump in life. We are still one in Christ when we succeed and when we fail.
- “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” (Proverbs 3:5-6) - Life can become a place of confusion. We are bombarded with images of things we should would and told the direction we should take, but remember not too worry because God will direct your way.

Wonderful post. We need to remember God’s love for us all, even those who do not believe, when times are so stressful. F God brings us to it, he’ll bring us through it.

Thanks for the inspiration–but where is the FIFTH quote?
Also, not to criticize, but the Proverbs reference is sheer poetry (to me at least)when read in its original English tranlation (King James Version, I guess?):
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all they ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.”
-DT, still trying to figure out if I’m going crazy or whether there really ISN’T a fifth quote.
@dt
thanks for the heads up man. I think I accidently deleted it out when I was editing. I need to find one to put in there.
I have a tendency to overlook the KJV when I am finding bible verses. I’m not a big fan of the KJV, but every once in awhile it will hit the nail on the head :). Its a little biased and untrustworthy compared to some other english translations (simply because their translators didn’t have the resources and amount of manuscripts that we have today).
You comin tomorrow?
The proverbs one is quite possibly my favourite verse in the whole bible. There are so many different ways of reading it.
@Tom.
Thanks for the comment. I agree, the Proverbs one is the first one I wrote down. It truly can be an wonderful thought in times of confusion if we look at it the right way.
