Are you against global warming? What about poverty? Then you must not care about the genocide in Darfur.. Did you forget about the hundreds of thousands of girls who are sexually abused every day?

Where does it end?

I don’t have enough time or money to make a big enough impact to change the world.

Do I Really Make An Impact?

If you are anything like me, then this is how you feel. We all want to make a positive impact on the world. I have made a commitment to sponsor a child through Compassion International this year, but this child is just a small speck of sand on a large desert of a problem. There are still millions of children starving every day and many of them will die today.

The lack of a large impact leads to a feeling of insignificance.

We might feel this way, but we do it because it is at least something. We are impacting at least one person’s life.

Maybe that is the key.

We Can Change The World By Changing Our Worlds.

I nor you can change the world, but we can change our worlds. If I make a significant effort to make a positive influence in every area of my life then I have changed my little corner of the world (however small it is). Then if you decide to make a significant effort to positively influence every area of your life, you have changed your corner of the world.

What if we combined our corners together?.. We would begin to make a shape.

Now what if we combined our efforts with 1,000 other like-minded individuals?

We would have made a significant impact on changing the world.

This is the new mission and philosophy of the Altnoise non-profit. We are here to provide a space where misfits can connect with others and share their stories of changing their worlds. Once united, the community of the non-profit can share inspiration, resources, tips, strategies, and various charity information.
