Last year, when this blog was first started, I had no idea what the content was going to be about. I didn’t know if it was going to be a music, ministry or personal blog. Really, I just thought the name was cool and I needed server space for my web projects.

Throughout the year, there were times that the site was nearly shut down. The motivation for such a decision was due to a lack of direction. I like direction. It was hard for Altnoise. I was passionate for the site, but I was frustrated with the lack of direction.

Yet I couldn’t shake the idea that this blog was important…

The Soul Of A Blog

I have put my soul into nearly every post on this site and will continue to do so this following year. I allowed myself to be transparent with my readers. I have shared the sorrow I felt for my friend with brain cancer and I have shared my struggle with depression. As the year progressed, many of you have shared your own struggles with me and I value this more than anything.

This next year, will begin with direction for Altnoise. The site will become the host for a new non-profit.

An Non-Profit For Misfits

Altnoise will be dedicated to inspiring, transforming and empowering the misfits of the world to make a positive impact on their worlds. It truly is going to be a remarkable project that I’m hoping that will get others excited.

 In addition to its normal spiritual and inspirational articles, this blog will chronicle our journey into setting up and running this exciting new Non-Profit. In the upcoming articles, we will be discussing what our actual plans are for the venture.
