It might seem a little confusing and odd at first, but we are just a simple community of misfits searching for something larger than ourselves.

"The person who lives for innovating things has lost touch with reality, but the one who desires to develop relationships understands what God is saying."
Since Saturday’s teaching lesson by my one year old Son [read here], I have begun to have a new
perspective in life. I am an inventor, artist, crazy mad scientist type of individual and always thinking of new projects. Most of them are pure genius of ideas (all that matters is my opinion), but nearly all of them have been born from my own creative thoughts. While they are great ideas, only a few have grown. The successful ones have always started from a personal experience or an understanding and insight of a conversation. They weren’t about the cool idea, but the cool idea was a solution to the problem someone I knew was having.
I have learned that a major point in life is about developing relationships around us. It is not about books, houses, size of buildings, atmosphere in a event, the design of a program, nor the beautiful painting. The book is to help me in understanding my friend David, the house is to give my wife and kids the comfortability and security they need, the atmosphere is to help your nervous friend feel more relaxed, anxious or entertained. Even though you believe that crazy looking design of a painting is a masterpiece, you should forget about forcing your Grandma, who loves Thomas Kinkaid, to enjoy the postmodern mush of a self-portrait. Whenever I begin to make the point of my endeavor about some non-living noun, I have failed as soon as I start.
